February of this year the HAMCATION in Orlando (FL – USA) was a great success and the largest HAMVENTION in Dayton (Xenia) just has finished(May 2024).
For me personally it would be a dream to visit both or at least one of those great Ham ventions. So they are definitely on the bucket list and hopefully my dream will come true next year as this year the YL and myself already have been on Holiday to South Africa. Nevertheless this month and like every year, the biggest HAM Radio event in Europe will be held in Friedrichshafen Germany
This year I am quite excited to see the new gadgets, which are already revealed at Dayton, following the new ICOM X60 Concept model and the Flex 8000 series. So besides these new technologies, it always nice to see what the other major vendors, Radio Clubs & Organizations and even Flea market is all about. Also I am looking forward to the different and many Eyeball QSOs we’re going to have with all HAM friends.
So if you have a chance to visit Friedrichshafen 2024 Ham Radio event, I would say have fun and maybe we will see you at the “Messe”
